About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing agency. You will be responsible for editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and other short-form content for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts & short-form videos
- Create attention-grabbing hooks, transitions, captions and effects
- Edit videos according to brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Add music, sound effects, subtitles and motion graphics where required
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form content pieces
- Understand current social media trends and editing styles
- Work closely with the social media and creative team
- Deliver videos within agreed timelines
- Make revisions based on client/team feedback
Requirements
- Experience with Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Reels and short-form video content
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music and visual composition
- Knowledge of trending social media formats is a plus
- Ability to work independently from home and meet deadlines
- A portfolio/showreel is required
